Board of Directors Matter
"Coming together is a beginning; Keeping together is progress; working together is success."
Each charter school board is the governing body of a publicly funded nonprofit organization with a multi-million dollar budget. The board is responsible for ensuring that the school has strong leadership, sound finances, effective fundraising, and high academic achievement.
Charter schools are accountable for academic results and for upholding the promises made in their charters.
